Why visit

The appeal is the combination of creative introductions and opportunities to interact, rather than simply looking at exhibits. Consider it a chance to connect manga and animation with Niigata-linked creators, whether you arrive with favorite names in mind or want to discover someone new.

Plan your visit

For the permanent exhibition, admission is JPY200 for adults, JPY100 for junior- and senior-high students, and JPY50 for elementary pupils. Special exhibitions are charged separately, but a special-exhibition ticket also includes the permanent exhibition, so consider which displays you want to see before choosing your ticket.

Getting there: the center is on the ground floor of Bandai City BP2 at 2-5-7 Yachiyo, Chuo Ward, Niigata. The published walk from Niigata Station’s Bandai exit is approximately 15 minutes.

Make the most of your visit

Try using the creator introductions as a starting point, then explore the character or voice-acting corners that catch your interest. Notice which aspect draws you in most—the characters, the voices or the people who create them—and use that as your thread through the displays.
